Nullifre's new S707 120 Minute Water-Based Intumescent Coating
Nullifire's range of S707 water-based decorative intumescent coatings has been extended to provide up to 120 minutes fire protection for internal structural steel. Now there is a cost-effective alternative to board and spray that allows architects and designers to make a feature of internal structural steelwork.

Fast-drying and extremely versatile, this halogen-free coating marks a significant step forward in the development of environmentally friendly, water-based intumescent coating systems. Nullifire S707-120 is fully tested to BS 476: Part 20-21: 1987 for up to 120 minutes fire protection, and is fast and easy to apply by spray or brush. With low odour and Low VOC content, Nullifire S707-120 can be applied to steelwork in-situ, even in confined spaces.

The Hi-Solids content and Hi-build technology combine to provide exceptional results - offering faster drying of thicker film single coat applications. Thin film Nullifire S707-120 dries quickly to a smooth hard finish, unlike solvent based multiple coat systems that can remain soft for months due to the inherent problems of solvent entrapment. This minimises the possibility of damage to the finish, as well as cutting installation time by up to a half , reducing installation costs, and allowing faster access for following trades.

Top seal for S707-120 (where required) is available in a range of RAL or BS4800 colours. It contains no fibres, and is therefore suitable for areas where delicate electronic instruments are manufactured or used. The satin finish is easy to maintain simply by wiping with a damp cloth.

Nullifire's S707-120 water-based decorative intumescent coating has been developed to provide the most cost-effective and aesthetically satisfying solution for the fire protection and decoration of internal steelwork. For further information call: 024 7685 5000

Nullifre's new S707 60 Minute Water-Based Intumescent Coating
Nullifire S707 on-site, water-based decorative intumescent coating for structural steel is now available from Nullifire Ltd. S707 builds on the proven performance of Nullifire S607, one of the first water-based intumescents developed over ten years ago S607 now protecting thousands of buildings across the world. Offering fast, easy application and up to 60 minutes’ fire protection in a single coat, Nullifire S707 is the most advanced and versatile basecoat of its type.

S707 is the latest intumescent coating from Nullifire Ltd., the UK’s leading developer of passive fire protection systems. Fast-drying and extremely versatile, this halogen-free coating marks a significant step forward in the development of environmentally friendly, water-based passive fire protection systems. Nullifire S707 is fully tested to BS 476: Part 20-21: 1987 for up to 60 minutes fire protection. This product has been fully tested and assessed inline with the recommendations of the ASFP YELLOW BOOK.

Thinner film, faster application
The Hi-Solids content and Hi-build technology of Nullifire S707, provides exceptional results – faster, by using a thinner film which is faster drying. Up to 60 minutes fire protection can be applied in a single coat, reducing application time, reducing overall site costs, and reducing risks to other trades and the general public.

Single coat protection and decoration
Nullifire S707 dries to a smooth, robust white finish - similar to a paint finish. This avoids the need for a top seal in non-decorative areas of C1* buildings, providing even faster and more economical construction times.

In a fire, the S707 film will expand to many times its original thickness. This provides an insulating foam-like coating or ‘char’ to protect steelwork against heat build-up and the effects of fire.

Ready and easy to use
S707 is ready for use (requiring no thinning) and easy to spray using conventional or automated spray systems. S707 may also be applied by roller or brush. The low VOC content makes S707 ideal for use in less well-ventilated areas.

Exceptional sustainable appearance
Top seal for S707 (where required) is available in a range of RAL or BS4800 colours. It contains no fibres, and is therefore suitable for areas where delicate electronic instruments are manufactured or used. The satin finish is easy to maintain simply by wiping with a damp cloth.

New Fire Stopping Solutions From Nullifire
New B600 Insulated Pipe Sleeve

The B600 is a new innovative fire stopping solution, which provides fire protection to both plastic and steel pipes when penetrating masonry walls and floors, and stud or mineral fibre batts partitions.

This easy fit intumescent pipe sleeve has been designed to close off plastic, and seal around steel and copper pipes to maintain compartmentation, and prevent the passage of smoke and fire. This system also provides thermal insulation and a vapour seal as traditional lagging materials, so is ideal for all types of hot and cold water pipes.

The B600 Insulated Pipe Sleeve requires no fixings or sealant. Simply cut to size slip the sleeve over the pipe, and slide it along pipe into the cavity.

Due to the unique intumescent technology used in the B600 the system can be used in lightweight cavity partitions, and mineral fibre fire batts without any secondary fixings or support.
