At the CPG Centre of Excellence in Arkel, Netherlands, innovation continues to drive the future of passive fire protection. The latest development from the Nullifire team is the FS704 Fire Resistant Hybrid Sealant – a next-generation solution that brings together the strengths of multiple technologies into one high-performance product. Designed to deliver up to two hours of fire resistance and engineered for long-term reliability, FS704 represents a major advancement in hybrid sealant technology. With excellent movement capability, strong curing performance, and a solvent-free, low-odour formulation, this new hybrid sealant demonstrates how modern material science can enhance fire stopping performance while supporting safer, more sustainable construction practices. This hybrid product combines the benefits of several technologies.
The key benefits of the product are:
· Up to 2 hours fire resistance.
· Maximum continuous service temperature +90°C
· Skin formation in approximately 45 minutes
· Curing speed in the first 24 hours is approx. 2.8 mm
· Shelf life of 12 months
· Up to 25% movement capability in normal usage of the building, not during fire
