Nullifire and Carboline's Perlifoc HP Eco is a gypsum-based mortar that provides passive fire protection to a variety of substrates: steel, concrete and composite slab structural elements. The product provides safety to structures in for form of fire protection, with up to 240 minutes, whether that is load bearing (R), integrity (E), insulation (I) or all three (REI). Perlifoc HP Eco+ provides this protection to internal structures only, but when combined within a system of Carboline primers and topcoats, it can be used in up to a C4 internal environment (ISO 12944).
Fire resistance periods are measured in minutes, typically ranging from 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 or 240. Whilst Perlifoc HP Eco + can only be manufactured in white and grey, it can be top coated using Carboline Carbothane 134 CG. This topcoat is available in most RAL & BS shades and can be supplied in matt, satin, semi-gloss and gloss allowing architects and designers to find their perfect solution.
