Since joining Tremco CPG UK and the Nullifire team in October 2022, Sophie has been a driving force behind our success, bringing her extensive background in chemistry and testing knowledge to the forefront.
One of the many highlights of Sophie's journey with Nullifire is her recent achievement at the ASFP Awards. Last Thursday, Sophie was honoured with the Level 3 Academic Achievement Award, presented by one of our partners, Checkmate Fire. This prestigious recognition is a result of Sophie's outstanding performance on the IFE Level 3 Foundation Exam, where she secured the highest score of the year.

The Level 3 ASFP exam that Sophie excelled in is a part of the Foundation Course in Passive Fire Protection. This course is groundbreaking in the UK and Ireland, allowing candidates to obtain a recognised qualification in Passive Fire Protection (PFP). Developed in a partnership between the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) and the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), this qualification is the first of its kind, offering a pathway for individuals to progress to the Level 3 qualification in Passive Fire Protection.
The training content encompasses current best practices and draws on the technical expertise provided by the ASFP. It is designed to equip candidates, like Sophie, with the knowledge required to demonstrate competency in passive fire protection roles. The qualification is not only nationally but also internationally recognised, aligning with the standards set by Ofqual, the qualification regulators.
