FS709 HP Intumescent Sealant

FS709 HP is a graphite intumescent sealant containing Optifire+ traceability identifier. Used as a closer device or as a standard fire seal, it expands when exposed to fire.

Usage/purpose

FS709 HP has been tested to close off many combustible elements in the event of a fire.

FS709 is designed to reinstate the fire performance of compartment walls and floors which have been breached by services.

FS709 is suitable for use within flexible walls & rigid walls (75mm or wider), rigid floors (100mm or wider), CLT walls and floors, and also within FB750 Intubatt / FR230 Intucompound, and FB770 Intudeck.

FS709 has been tested with the following service penetrations:
- combustible pipes (ABS, PE, PP, HDPE, PVC, PB, iMist, PEX, MLCP...)
- insulated non-combustible pipes
- pipe insulation types: nytrile rubber, glass fibre, PIR, phenolic, cotton, rock fibre
- individual or groups of cables, perforated & non-perforated cable trays, cable ladders, cable baskets, cable bundles, trunking, gaps between busbars, etc...

Typical areas of use include: health and leisure facilities, schools, universities, modular construction, commercial buildings, hospitals, retail and industrial units, train stations, nuclear power plants, etc...
